PIP enhanced rate 2026/27
The PIP enhanced rate applies when you score 12 points or more on a component. Daily Living enhanced is £110.40 per week, Mobility enhanced is £77.05 per week. Enhanced Mobility is what unlocks the Motability Scheme.

What enhanced unlocks that standard does not
- Enhanced Mobility (12 points on either Mobility activity) is what unlocks the Motability lease scheme.
- Enhanced Moving Around (8 points or more) gives automatic Blue Badge eligibility in England.
- Enhanced Daily Living and enhanced Mobility together is the headline figure for "maximum PIP" at £187.45 per week or £9,747.40 per year.
April 2026 uprating
The September 2024 CPI of 1.7% was applied to all PIP rates from 7 April 2026 under the Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order 2026. The nominal figures are identical to 2025/26.
